Considering we have played 1 up front all season and Eto'o offers a similar option to him then yes I think he would reconsider, he would be mad not to.

Considering its the year running up to the world cup he'll want to be playing as well as he can because he has a lot of competition to play as a forward, that means he won't want to be playing out of position in a position Argentina probably don't have? I think the answer to that lies in whether other clubs are willing to pay such astronomical wages.

I'm not saying that we're the only option for these players but if they want the megabucks then there aren't many willing to pay what we will. So to a certain extent we hold the aces.

And it wold be difficult to believe that we haven't made this count come August. There are shirley sufficient numbers of greedy world class footballers on the planet who will come for the money but then give it their all for the shirt. It seems like Tevez and Eto may be two such players.

Feels like 2 months, this has dragged on forever!

I seriously hope Tevez isn't reconsidering the transfer now we are interested in Eto'o and have Santa...even if Eto'o signs, he will take Santa's place in a central 4-3-3 and Tevez will still get his wide striker role. How ironic would it be though if he left United and came to little City to guarantee first team football and ended up on our bench because we outbuy the top-4!

Had a quick chat with my guy and he claims it is virtually complete for Tevez. Club want it to be announced as a spectacular signing so going for pics and vids on the website etc so just gonna time it. Only thing that could hold it up is the Premier League they are checking over the deal making sure there is no dodgy stuff in there of Kia. All being good will be announced and completed by Fri, Monday latest if its not then start worrying.

I know it aint ground breaking but thought I would pass it on!
