Tevez [Merged]

Re: tevez 'Manchester City one of several options'

well the 'source' isn't named...

what we should be doing is having other people in mind because at the moment this seems like it could go either way and we need a Plan B in case he goes elsewhere.

Which is exactly what we failed to do back in February with the RSC nonsense.

That guardian article looks like it's been cobbled together using bits from other articles weeks old. It's probably nothing more than lazy journalism, from the outside it's an ongoing story, to people on here it looks a dead cert that he will be arriving.

Re: tevez 'Manchester City one of several options'

This actually ties in exactly with what Spursmad321 has been saying since Sunday about the deal already been done but not being announced untill the 1st of July.

People should take the guardian article with a pinch of salt, it's another article where a source who cannot be named says..... doubt it's even true, just wait and see

There is no indication that anyone except City and United are in for him. What is taking so long?

1. his loan contract with Rags is still live with a few days to run
2. he is in South America

The consensus was that it was a straight United v City battle, and that we would know one way or another this week. But if the Guardian article is true, not only will it drag on for weeks more, but we are only one of a bunch of clubs in contention.

Depressing article from a worryingly reputable source. I worry we are being strung along again.

Hope at 11am we hear something that will turn it all on its head.
