One rule for one........
Carlos Tevez community service order rescinded

Carlos Tevez has had the remainder of his community service order rescinded and will now pay a fine following his move to Juventus.

The former Manchester City striker was handed a 250-hour sentence in April for driving while disqualified the previous month.

Concerns were raised whether Tevez would be able to see out his punishment after recently joining Juve, but Macclesfield Magistrates Court have ruled that the Argentine will now complete it in the form of a financial penalty.

The forward is understood to have signed for Juventus for a fee of around £10m

Events overtook his control and he was sold to Juventus which meant his work permit was no longer valid and he was unable to stay and complete the court order. He did nothing to affect this change."

Rubbish the guy instigated the move knowing full well he wouldn't complete the order, under the courts he wouldn't need a permit to complete the sentence.

quite right too, waste of time that was. should have hit with a bloody big fine and bought a scanner for christies with it.
Totally agree, I sometimes wonder if the sentences dished out to "celebrities" is all show and nothing more

-- Wed Jul 10, 2013 4:08 pm --

I don't think he moved to Juventus to get out of doing community service, as stated change of circumstance, means change in punishment
