Tevez's first against Wigan

Seen it a few times now and still can't quite fathom out what the fuck their keeper was doing. It looks like he was afraid to handle the ball for some reason. He seems to be keeping his arms to his side and trying to chest the ball out of danger.
I mean, credit to Carlos and the others who played their part in the goal, but if I were Martinez I'd want a few choice words with that goalkeeper.
