Tevez's Future

He makes £250,000 a week. He's not going anywhere until his contract is up. Even PSG wouldn't touch him...

£52k over actually and I'd be happy to keep him if service is top notch till he goes. We could always have a Welbeck in the ranks hahaha

Just an opinion, but I venture to say balo and dzeko will both be gone within a year and tevez will re-up for two additional years. And I am perfectly happy sight that.

He'll run his contract down and sign a huge deal with his next club. He can basically pick any team in the world when his contracts up.

Not the player he was at West Ham at United or early City days. That is reflected
by the way he is not picked for the National team anymore. I think he knows where he will
be going. So no he won't have the choice to go anywhere.

IMO he's not going to re-sign when he can walk on a free for a final big payday and I doubt City will be prepared to offer him a deal on the same numbers when he will be 30 in 2014. He's also going to want a 'retirement deal' with a 4 or 5 year contract and I think City would be mugs to chance him on that.

He's always struggled with his weight so after 30 it will only get worse (I can see him ending up like Maradonna).

I think he'll walk on a free in 2014 to someone like AC or Inter (maybe PSG or Anzhi) who may give him a decent paydeal if there's no transfer feee involved.

Regardless of where he will end up, he still the best forward City bought since the take over.

Total rubbish, he was good at west ham and was never a goal scorer for united.. Tevez has plenty of years left and would love him to stay, he still has everything about him from the day we signed him but seems his attitude is miles better.. Fully agree he has his next team lined up and Kia will probably be working on the deal

sign him up!!! the 3 players in the team who give quality and effort a plenty are Tevez aguero and kun keep them together

Mancini should try the Tevez-Aguero-Kun front three. Just think of how many goals Serg could score if he had two of himself on the pitch

Lol.

Hopefully we can sell him in the summer, gets some pennies, and replace him with someone who goes like shit off a shovel who can play wide forward and still score goals.

It might be unpopular but I think Tevez is one of a handful of players in our squad who can "cut it" at the best clubs in Europe.
He seems to have settled down and appears genuinely content.
I dont mind us selling him if we can be sure we are going to replace him with a player of better quality but they are hard to find.
(From evidence so far we seemed to downgrade in summer swapping De Jong for Garcia/Rodwell).
Falcao or Cavani seem an upgrade if they would be happy to join us?

It all depends on who is in charge during the remainder of his contract.

His contract ends in 2014.

How often do clubs let £25m plus players go on a free? The upcoming closed season (if he hasn't signed an extension) will likely be his last here. So my question is. Do we resign him or do we sell.

I believe they have an agreement so that he can go back to Argentina after his contract runs down

I see this as the answer and the reason why Tevez is now so settled, he can see the end to his career that he wanted and has probably persuaded his family over here with the promise of all returning home when his contract is up.

I hope we can finally get rid, yes he is a decent player, but I would much rather cash in and give Guidetti a chance
Yes lets sell a world class player and replace him with a youth team player that we have no idea if he will make the grade or not
Stunning sense that would make?
