(And could drink most men I know under the table, lol)
Went there once and it was average at bestI went to Hawksmoor last month and the cocktails were cheaper!
Unbeknown to me my son wrote a review saying it was average
Anyway they invited us back for a free steak
Went back, could order whatever steak we wanted, all the extras were not free
Anyway, it was still just ok. I have made better myself

I posted that in 2013. She left, semi retired some years later and just does some consultancy work as and when. Oddly their slide began after the new guys took the reins ;-)

Bodenes do amazing ribs
but my local Chinese in Dartford cant be beaten, worth the 224.5 mile drive for you guys
When I used to do a walking tour with my crews on London layovers, I’d usually end the night there (Poland Street, between Oxford St and SoHo, not The Tower location) for some decent BBQ.
I liked their burnt ends.
For ribs, you really need to go to Michelbob’s in Naples, FL (opposite the airport), or the takeout only location on Marco Island for world class, award winning ribs and sauce.
In a week, I will often order from there twice and scarf down about 7-8 racks total. Fall off the bone baby backs…nectar of the Gods!
