Finally Thailand is having elections, though ones heavily slanted in favour of the junta but annouced last night that the presidential candidate for the Thai Raksa Chart party will be the Kings sister.

Now Thai Raksa Chart were not expected to do nothing really as they are the reminents of the previous parties led by the shinawatra family, however the news that Princess Ulboratana will be their candidate, directly against Junta leader has shook Thai politics as the army has used the royals to legitimise it's coup and dictatorship.

Although she relinquished her title due to her marriage to a foriegner and is not protected under the la majeste laws, it will be hard for many to criticise or insult the kings sister .

Hope he puts in another bid to buy Liverpool. Toxic and the scousers seem well matched.

I've actually spoken to that Princess a few times. She comes over to the UK fairly regularly as she is the designated royal to support Tourism Thailand.

She's been known to sing at events, and no one has the nerve to tell her that she's really not very good at all. Our royals are down with the kids on the council estate by comparison to theirs.

The two anti establiment pro reform of tge le majeste laws and army influence have swept the board with the second largest party lead by Thaksins daughter
