I do like a week or two off work and I enjoy the Xmas day itself but, a month of Ho- bleedin'- Ho written to Dickensian backbeat and the constant over commercialisation rammed down your throat leaves me utterly miserable lol.

I do like Xmas pudding with fresh brandy sauce though :)

I've had enough of it now

I always fuckoff abroad after the 27th as I can’t cope with it. Went to Bratislava yesterday just for the crack. Watched city in a bar with a load of Slovaks. Soon be over mate!
 
I’ve enjoyed the time off work. Truth be told it’s been much needed. That said, I reckon I’m ready to go back on Weds. Looking forward to Thursday and a trip to Budapest with the lads towards the end of January.

I feel your pain. It’s starts too early and ends too late. My missus loves it too which adds to the misery as she spends a fortune every year on shite. Add to that 2 defeats for us and I’m more miserable than Morrissey at a Turkey culling party.
