Thank goodness the players showed that they are not just flat track bullies and can grind out a result when things are not going well. It would appear that they do want to play for their manager.

No we have a game in hand over many of the teams below us but only over Wigan (7th) who are 6 points ahead of us.
It is good to be looking up the table though !

Yeah but Fulham have 2 games in hand and we drop to 12th if Pompey beat Spurs....a draw would be good there. Still an improvement on where we were, just need to win that game in hand now !

We needed that win. Not only for us, but for Kaka's dad and Kaka watching on.(probably)
Newcastle at home next, with Kaka and the other signings in the team? If we win that and the other results go our way, we could be 9th. With Stoke away after that.
