I don't care what people say about that game, we should have won, end of story. We didn't have enough guile, and when we did we had no one who seemed to be able to shoot on target. Although I agreed, and still do, with having two DM's as it gives us much needed stability, we seem to have lost all of our free flowing, goal-scoring flare. MH needs to address tis quickly. This was Stoke....the team who havn't won in 9....the team who were 2nd to bottom before today. They are now 4 points behind us; in a league as tight as this we need to at least be picking up a point from these games. We have so much more talent. After a 'mini' good run we still are only 4 pts ahead of stoke, and if results don't go our way we will be back in it, to an extent. We can't always fall back on the 'typical city' excuse.

I Remember MH saying, when he first came, something like ' he would backin himself tactically over any other manager in the prem.' Whilst I agree with his subs etc today, he didn't lead us to victory did he. I have liked him over the last few months, with what he has said and what the team have done, but questions do need to be asked now and again? Also...although i am embarrased by the fact we have made about 4 bids for RSC...it has never been more glaringly obvious that we need a target man.

No replacement for Petrov's long term injury.

No width, which we needed today. We had no one who could stretch them. Combine that with the small pitch and it was easy for them.
