Bolton and Spurs are about to go on sale.

Spurs top tier is £53.

Stick it up your arse Levy and Twitcher.

Come to think of it, I won't be going to any London clubs that are charging £50+ for an away ticket.

If nothing else it free's up an away ticket for another City fan who wants to go. There's a plus side for everything.

I know, I'm going to get slated, but that's part and parcel of Blue Moon.

BTW. Bolton top tier is £35.

no probs i'm doing both but thats my decision and my circumstances! i wouldnt criticize anyone for not going! esp as both are on telly! pick and choose the games you fancy! your perogative!

I would expect for the big games we will also be charging opposition fans £50 next season,A sign of our succesful times.

Just like everybody else on here I love City, but there comes a point when you have to say enough is enough. £50+ for a PL away ticket, £30 travel, £20 for a few drinks and food, and you're looking at £100.

Good luck to the lads who can afford it, and to those who can't, but are prepared to find the money. Plenty of respect for all of you, but I've got to draw the line somewhere. I'm sure others feel the same as well. I could be wrong though.

I understand that clubs have to make profits but this situation is getting more and more worrying and I hate to say it, but I think there will gradually be more and more clubs selling tickets at prices like this if not higher.

Does it have anything to do with it being City they are playing? Would they charge the same for all clubs or would the supporters of the biggest clubs like City and Chelsea pay slightly more than fans of teams like Swansea and Bolton?

Until the bubble bursts prices are only going to increase.
If people are willing to pay and fill the grounds what do you expect.

City are now in the most expensive category at most Prem grounds because we're seen as attractive opposition - as against Pearce's reign in charge when we were bargain basement prices. It's not "slightly more" either, the difference can be £20+ between top and bottom categories.

I drew the line at aways a few years ago when £25 + became the norm! :(

Its been near enough £50 for spurs as long as i can remember, we charge other clubs that, we're charging our fans (cheapest ticket) £38 for opening game.

As poster has already alluded to, signs of a successful side.

And a sign of the times to pay for ludicrous wages but that's the going rate today if you want to compete at the top table and where City want to be.

I'm hoping to get Bolton Away tickets, I rarely go to away games down sounth as its over priced Wembley I can kind of let get away just because of the experiance but £53 for Spuds (plus travel which is a joke)???? Really???........ I mean there not even a top 4 team ;0) I tend to travel Midlands and North but even sometimes I can't afford travel to midlands at times, but I'm hoping to get some away games under my belt this season.... Starting with this Sunday :0)

Also I fall under the 4000 category for Bolton how likely is it that I'll be able to get a Lower Tier seat????

I don't think so. If we do, we have to charge all fans including our own the same in the South Stand (Obviously, non season tickets)

Ridiculous! Clubs need to realise that the atmosphere is one of the things that makes this game great. We have all noticed that as prices increase and all seated stadiums have come in the atmosphere has changed. Now pricing away fans out of tickets will make it even worse. Any one watched the bundesliga recently, full houses, cheap seats, standing areas, and majority games great atmosphere.

Chelsea shed upper £59
QPR School End upper (centre) £72 ....edit..sorry this is their most expensive home ticket. Cheapest ticket in the ground is £47 though and it'll be more than that!
Central seating is also more expensive. This could end up £55-60 Cat A

Thing is, I dont necessarily blame Spurs, because thats the state of most of the Cockey ticketing. Always the most expensive. QPR will be £45+ because they have the smallest ground in the league.

Bolton away is a definite for me...

Our away support will continue to suffer with these continued price hikes. Include the addition of CL away ties, and it's effect is even worse.

There's only so far we can be stretched.

If German fans can do it why cant we? If someone on here has the time and the will, we could start a National campaign, based on £35 adult, £15 Junior and OAP, ~~MAX~~ or nobody goes. If everyone at every club supported it. it would work.
