And we will still welcome the Mirror to the Etihad with drinks, food, a press seat, and a seat in the new media centre at the CFA.

Regardless of what we offer some of these tabloids, they will never come on board. Or they will do for a while until they find another reason to attack the club.
and it's said that Mullock is a blue, the commitment to the agenda is total is seems

Simon has not written the headline.

Other than him not going into the finer points of FFP, ie why we failed and why a 'slap on the wrist' was the only fair punishment I don't see what's wrong with this.

I do believe the media love to have a pop at us, but his figures are not the inflated ones often reported. We all know we have a slight shortfall, why wouldn't we do a United and pay in instalments and on an appearance and success based payments?

I hate the media, but here he's simply saying what we're doing. Even going on to state why we need Bony as opposed to the usual 'buying for buyings sake' nonsense.

He has at a shortfall of £12 million, then highlights the money due for Negredo and that Sinclair & Nasti are likely to go, balancing the books.

The article written by Mullock bares no resemblence to the headline. The subbie must have been a rag

It's great that some journos are so bitter. In contrast a lot of the bandits have been very positive about the bid for Bony, like John Hartson.

I think a lot of people just read the headline and get worked up without actually reading the article. Mullock is a big Blue, and has often spoken out against FFP.

Don't think he'll be too happy with his sub ed for that headline.

Good news for the Blues = Less clicks than bad news for the Blues.

Ffp hey the big stick that they keep hitting us with! FFP is a a virus that infects the weak minded media who lap it up and keep writing shite and Making City look like we cheating!
It's a great way of diminishing our achievements by constantly calling us cheats

Surely all it says it that MCFC have found a way to comply with FFP and still buy players ?
Cheating is not in my opinion implied merely that the FFP rules were not harsh enough to stop a business plan that could overcome its objective.

In other words it criticises UEFA not City.

The suggestion that we'll structure payments to get around FFP is a bit much, Whether we pay upfront or in installments its still recorded the same on the books I think.

You infer as you please
It's just that it is usually at odds with most City fans
