I’m in Catalunya. Last Christmas we stayed in Granada for a couple of nights and visited The Alhambra. Funnily enough, was speaking to one of the entertainers here and when I said I preferred Seville, he said that Granada is a young person’s town.

I love Seville. Are you over for Christmas? How nice. The Spanish do seem to do a lovely line in Christmas celebrations. Have a fantastic time mate. Best wishes to you and your family.

No, went to Seville and Granada before last Christmas. We are in Catalunya - Tossa de Mar over Christmas and then Barcelona for 4 days.

All the best to you and your family as well, and I hope that your son can work his way through the long covid. Sounds awful.

Merry Christmas one and all!

From a listening POV, I've very much enjoyed the playlist here (despite one track version chosen that doesn't show up in Spotify outside of the land of Stonehenge here in the US [but the 2025 remaster does]).

That playlist and I hope everyone has A Very Special Christmas, all volumes, which is on heavy rotation here. While I don't suspect I'll be needing a visit from The Gritterman at an unseasonable 21C here, it will something I listen to later on today. Cheers and peace to us all!

When I typed that, I thought 99% chance someone will make that point and 66% chance it'll be Bimbo :-)

On the Italian front instead of buggering about with chestnuts, today I did my sprouts pan fried with nduja and parmesan and everybody including the non sprout folks ate them.

pan fried is the way to go with a little caramelisation.
