On the positive front, it's good to hear the town he sang about in "Town for Sale" is now flourishing.
I hope I haven't killed this thread with the top 100 because it's been very quiet the last few weeks.

Good job I didn’t go with the melancholic so.Decnet enough songs but not really my thing. A bit too MOR for me. Classic rock. VERY REM in parts.

I manage an aging recently reformed alternative rock band up here in the North East (play a bit of back up mouth organ as well) Sent 'brewing up a storm' to the band. Now going to be on set list (they hadn't heard it either) They love it...

He has a knack of writing beautiful modern ballads.'An Empty Feeling' is a lovely song
I have The Stunning and The Walls on a chronological loop at the moment and it ends with this song.
His voice is so easy to listen to.
