Rattlesnakes.... Lloyd Cole and the Commotions
Cafe Blue....Style Council.
The Wonderful and Frightening World off...The fall.
The Icicle Works...Icicle Works.
All purchased and loved but my favourite from this year.
Ocean Rain by Echo and the Bunnymen their fourth studio album.
An album that I still love today.Melancholy and. melodic the Bunnymen's finest hour.IMHO.
Ian McCulloch Vocals.
Will Sergeant Guitar.
Les Pattinson Bass.
Pete De Freitas Drums.

40 years later still brilliant and still touring to the album to this day..

Look at that list, with the exception of The Fall and maybe Cocteau Twins these were all mainstream chart acts too and every one of them a band of one type or other. No wonder my kids spend half their time listening to 80s music.

(haha - there's no FOC worse than an 80's music FOC!)
