The Album Review Club - Week #147 - (page 1942) - Blonde On Blonde - Bob Dylan

Looking at the page 1 album list I'm getting increasingly distracted with considering which albums I think were underscored, not just for my tastes but overall. Ignoring my nominations which were virtually all massively underscored, I'm feeling Crawler, Doolittle and Songs of Faith and Devotion were all harshly dealt with.

I’m struggling to get time in to listen to anything at the moment. I’m only dropping in and out of the forum as a whole.
New puppy taking all my time.
Political and musical threads are my staples in here but not enjoying the political landscape in here at the moment and not finding the time for in depth analysis in the musical ones.

I’ll still express an interest when I can.

Given to the Wild from The Maccabees easily was harshly dealt with IMO too, but I wasn't around to see to that one. Given I was already familiar with that album, it can't be in my top 5 finds, but it would be otherwise.

To what degree have you worked your way through the ones prior to your arrival? I think there's maybe 2 or 3 more that I think are worth listening to from the ones I missed. Am currently listening to the Bad Dreems album.

I'm open to suggestions, but I have listened to J.J. Cale out of principal, and did like it.

I know many of the other albums prior (The Cars, Bruce, Rush of course, Isbell, DBTs, Midnight Oil, War on Drugs, Noel, and others), but I'm willing to give a few more a spin as I have my earbuds in as today's matches are playing.

I wasn't familiar with DBT and didn't bother listening to it until they also popped up on one of the playlists.

I thought the Doll By Doll album was one of the more interesting early ones I missed.
