The Album Review Club - Week #147 - (page 1942) - Blonde On Blonde - Bob Dylan

Brilliant album. Richard Burton had a voice like Morgan Freeman or Michael Holding. They could narrate the phone book, and it'd sound interesting. And Phil Lynott is excellent as the parson.

(b) He's contributed to a music thread without frothing at the mouth about the M word!!

Got to be worth an extra point before we even start.

The Eve of the War and in fact the whole enterprise could have easily collapsed under it's own weight in the first 5 mins. That it doesn't is pretty much down to Burton simply being Burton.
