The Album Review Club - Week #147 - (page 1942) - Blonde On Blonde - Bob Dylan

Good effort Rob.

Changing it up with guesses not being public on the thread this time?

TRex track is a good one. There was some interesting developments with guitar tech and therefore guitar tone around the early 70s that sadly got lost in the glam rock / prog rock genres. TRex have great guitar tones on their tracks.

I forgot we usually put the guesses on here.

I’ll edit the post so that guesses can go on here, top 10s in a PM.

Of course, the old switch trick will be more difficult with two tracks each, but maybe a PM to indicate which way the swap should work.
Hopefully everybody knows whatI mean by this! I can’t be bothered typing it out tonight.

I couldn’t stand them at the time but hats off to Bolan, he actually wrote some good songs like this one and Cosmic Dancer.

No idea!

Trex were before my time. They sound good to me. Why are they seem as a bit of a joke band?

Alot of glam rock isn’t considered serious really despite it being one of my favourite genres- guess most songs are more jovial and fun rather than heavy and serious.

Plus off course the giant hair, sparkly trousers and platform shoes.
