The Album Review Club - Week #147 - (page 1942) - Blonde On Blonde - Bob Dylan

I know we’re trying hard not to give away who picked what but whoever picked Life’s Been Good — I owe you a pint. This is on my list of top ten tunes that invariably put me in a great mood. I loved this song the first time I heard it and it’s never gotten old. Long live Joe Walsh!
The first possible clarkie already.

I do agree however a great song in fact and IMO picked up the Eagles from his boot straps. This list is quite varied and and a number of them new to me and two of those already looking like top ten selections but solid throughout with few weaknesses covering a number of decades.

Some familiar favourites of some posters I note but some other posters may be attempting some playing the man and not the ball.

Not much high rate commercial material which I like.

I love the album it is on as well. But seriously folks. Along with Some girls by the Stones and Live and dangerous by Thin Lizzy 3 lps that stood out in my punk years in 1978.

Definite Clarkie....when are you ever in a great mood ;)

I forgot we usually put the guesses on here.

I’ll edit the post so that guesses can go on here, top 10s in a PM.

Of course, the old switch trick will be more difficult with two tracks each, but maybe a PM to indicate which way the swap should work.
Hopefully everybody knows whatI mean by this! I can’t be bothered typing it out tonight.
Yes the two songs thing will indeed mix it up and make things more interesting. But let's complicate things later, rather than now.

Here you go, presuming you mean Bolan and not pre pubescent girls…
He was also partial to adorning his face with stick on stars and glitter.

I don't usually get much from the foreign language songs but that first one is a bit of a blast. Mind you I have been listening to Swedish band Dungen recently and the language barrier hasn't stopped me enjoying them.

Pleasantly surprised by the TRex as well

So who likes James McMurty so much they went with him for both their songs?
