If they can bat through to tea tomorrow (at least), they should have a lead of around 200 or so. A handy advantage for the second innings.
I think a 200 lead is the minimum we should be aiming for as this pitch looks like it's already getting easier to bat on and weather conditions are going to improve tomorrow and Friday. If we fluff our lines tomorrow and only end up with a lead of 100 or 150 tops I can't see them being bowled out anywhere near as cheaply second time around.
Today was a near perfect day and Lyth aside, Cook and Bell were well set to take the game away from them so it was frustrating seeing them both get out. We were smashing them for 6 an over when they were both in and we need to take it to them again in the morning while maintaining a modicum of commonsense with regards shot selection.

I dont think dumb as fuck Aussies will spice things up at all, just lower the intellect and tone, Strauss going is a bit of a blessing he was duller than dishwater. Warne is ok but just about every other Aussie gets on my nerves to some extent.
The radio is still better than TV, probably always will be for me though.
