I like many of a similar age was turned onto cricket by 81 and my cousin was there that day, it was an awesome watch, I remember my mum repeatedly saying can you see Mark (he was in the stand Beefy was knocking the 6's off his nose into). Of course I couldnt see him but as a young lad it didnt stop me looking. As you say Whitney grassing that skier was a brilliant moment, there is something glorious about a drop or a miss field as Johnson proved today diving passed a couple, although it probably brings a tear to Kim Hughes' eye again thinking of Mike's perm swaying in the wind.

Yeah i think that was it, I remember thinking who the fuck is that random they've got on, Terry Alderman? fuck me sideways. I bet Gooch has a shiver down his spine at the thought of him running into bowl.
