Fuck me, this should be entitled "How To Destroy A Team, A Tactical View"

Cool link, and somewhat scary when you see them using themselves as the perfect textbook examples of total footy.

In conclusion, awesome and scary.

It sure is scary how complex they've gotten. It is beyond just talent. Even thought they have some of the best. It is an in depth system that seems elementary on the surface, but has levels of complexity that produces that elementary simplicity.

It is an exceptional view of how to play football.

awesome vid that, watched it all the way through.

some fans wouldn't put up with that at city though, if we don't score within the first 20 they start moaing like fuck.

Your not wrong Dax mate.

This was my thought process.

Good vid of skill>hmm technical>Hmm very good examples>Examples against real top teams in real matches>Hmm i don't like this i'm scared>shit this is like a horror movie for anyone facing them if they do this.

I'm shakily lighting a cig now, i called the police over this mental rape, they understand and are sending multiple physcological units as a priority messi related football fan breakdown.

I fear a long recovery, and a wish to avoid them as long as possible in next years cl :p

You would get fans like this tosser i know called ban-mcfc booing after 5 mins though.
This is after he has poured his G&T (with fresh ice and lime) ofc.

"Where is my goal" he will repeat whilst spitting his grape seeds and throwing his empty wine chalices at the underclasses.

Very, very interesting and enlightning video, thanks for sharing it Dax.

Hopefully people moaning about City's "monotone" passing that "leads nowhere" will see that there's a method to Mancini's ways, and maybe even find the beauty hidden in "passing the shit out of the opposing team". Now, we're nowhere near Barca level passing, but well on our way.

Other than that, really enjoyed learning about the short corners and short goal kicks, hadn't noticed that before about Barca. Of course it makes sense as they minimize the risk to give away possession, absolutely confident that their possession will materialize in goals.

Interesting seeing the detail in how they play,i see similarities to how we play, but they have been together longer and have a more technically gifted squad, educate the fans into understanding what we are trying to achieve on the pitch then there is no reason why we can't play and win like Barca over the next few years.

Seen that before! Great vid.

Allas makes some great Barcelona videos.

Their possession based football will always be more effective than ours because they have many players with incredible vision to cut teams open. Not only that, when the passes aren't coming off, they have the two best dribblers in the world: Messi and Iniesta. When Silva and Yaya aren't at their best, we lack killer passes.

Much their team can split a team open with their pin point through balls. Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Busquets have exceptionally good vision.

Take a look:

Many teams play possession based football. Because we do, people think we're like Barcelona. To me, we're more Italian in style than anything.

Barcelona are on another level to everyone. Look at Roma for example. Their new coach is from Barcelona B and he is trying to implement the Barcelona system there and when you watch Roma they look like Barcelona's bastard child.

The players Barcelona have got are what makes their system so effective. Their style has been in place for a while now.

Yes he does. I download all his stuff for my kids. Now they all think they are Xavi, and keep looking for Messi to make the run. LOl!
