Hahah. I stopped at Everton at home where we missed two pens. KDB and Aguero and arguably had our best performance of the season.
Didn't Koeman say we were the best team he'd ever managed against?

Hopefully we will scrape through but it will likely be in the last game as it was last year. So it is debatable whether Pep has done as well as some of his more fervent supporters suggest.
This time last year we were all optimistic because our underachieving team was about to ignite under the tutelage of the recognized best manager in the business.
A an aside Zinedine Zidane is homing in on a rare league win for Madrid in an era dominated by Barca, not to mention a consecutive CL success, the question that springs to mind is whether Zidane is a football genius like Pep or were they both beneficiaries of having an exceedingly good team.
Now I know who to blame ;)Worse case scenario but i think we will win both (don't blame me if i jinx it)
Might not, it would be down to goal difference.
Could be. Win by four on Wednesday and should be.
Yup we have to score a lot just to be on the safe side . Dippers have tendency to score boat load or slip .You never know with those fuckers.Dependant on GD, it might be.
You can't ever have played football at a professional level Bill. If you seriously believe that a professional player starts a match thinking he's got a better chance of scoring because of the guy in net you're kidding no-one but yourself. There's a lot more that needs to happen before that opportunity even arises. By the time a potential goal scoring chance emerges the guy kicking the ball at goal doesn't give a shit who the keeper is, and certainly doesn't have time to think about the keepers attributes or C.V.exactly.
they see Dave, kun, sane and kev etc rested and it pumps them up. throw bravo in the mix and they know they are in with a great chance.
Us, Wednesday!?Could be. Win by four on Wednesday and should be.
I think it's fair to say that there are some BM'ers who do not deserve PG. Apparently, his past successes were down to pure luck, Donald Duck could have done as good a job at Barce and BM. Under Pep the players are lazy, arrogant, and unmotivated. They know this by analysing the "body language" of the players. But as is often stated everyone is entitled to express their opinion. But by doing so it can reveal agendas that influence rational thinking, (being kind). Without a doubt, when some posters claim PG has taken us backwards, they mean it and believe RM would have pissed the league if he was still here. There is no shaking their belief, unfortunately no-one will ever know what may have happened so discussing it is a waste of bandwidth. Imo Pep inherited a lot of players who were long past their sell-by date, who should have been replaced by younger, fitter players more suited to the high-intensity modern game. This season the chickens came home to roost, Pep was unable to turn the oldest average side in the prem into a dynamic high-pressing unit, but the damage was done before he arrived. If he recruits more younger players, then next season could be similar to this one with erratic results, and the Pep-outers will be even more shrill (ffs) . They are only exercising their democratic rights, so that's ok then. I.P.W.T.
Walker has been the best right back in the league for two seasons. If the rumours are right about Kyle Walker I'd argue he's now decided on 'bit of an improvement', in fact you could change bit for little for me.
Yeah but what does he know about football?Didn't Koeman say we were the best team he'd ever managed against?
Nothing like a bit of perspective on a Monday morning.Next season, no excuses. None. Failure to win the league and or the champions league would cement Pep as a complete failure in the English game. A flat track bully if you like.
If we're not looking good for a title win by Xmas he would have to be replaced, no excuses. Failure to do so would prove once and for all that the club believes they are not big enough to take him on and that's not acceptable.
Lol,i dont think anyone takes him seriously anymore.Nothing like a bit of perspective on a Monday morning.
Perhaps he thinks Joe Mercer was a complete failure after the 1967/8 season, with the players he had at his disposal.Lol,i dont think anyone takes him seriously anymore.
Being honest,i couldnt care less what the likes of him,and other agenda driven hyperbolic types, think - its just a noise.Perhaps he thinks Joe Mercer was a complete failure after the 1967/8 season, with the players he had at his disposal.
That's no way to talk about your fellow mods!Being honest,i couldnt care less what the likes of him,and other hyperbolic types, think - its just a noise.
I love the smell of self entitlement in in the morning mate, set's you up for the day.Nothing like a bit of perspective on a Monday morning.

Perhaps on a dead-ball, free-kick or penalty scenario - but nothing more.
Not quite sure which one you're referring to in particular.....
That's bollocks. If the opposing team are not lifted by the omission of say a buffon or a lloris etc I'll show my arse. Any forward running in on goal would think twice when facing an imposing keeper. You can't ever have played football at a professional level Bill. Lol I love it when the truth hurts.
