Pearce had retired before the Southampton game .
He missed the penalty against Portsmoth the previous season .

Not sure United are like that and sadly i think they will win tomorrow putting the final nail in our coffin. Our only hope is that Martial and Fellaini are out and they are important for United in games like this. Fellaini managed to combat West Ham's aerial threat single handedly in the cup game.

Convenient to say this, but reality is you cant get more clutch than winning your last 6 and last 5 games to seal 2 titles plus dominating a Cup Final and holding our nerve in a pen shootout against our arch-bogey team.
