We had sirloin striploins and salmon steaks on the barby yesterday, it was 4 degrees out. Going to the sisters today for ribs on the barby. Apparently her hubby was rubbing his meat yesterday in preperation. A balmy 4 degrees today.
Whatever turns him on, but what's he putting on the barbie?

Top left i cut the name out whoops, that is salt licks dry rub, the rest you can see and are all good quality rubs any bbq man should have or at least similar.
I make my own a fair bit also but it is nice if you cba with prep and just want to slam a joint of pork on the grill.

Couldn't care less as long as he washes his hands. I think I'll take the apron for him to wear.

Where are you getting your rubs from mate?

I had a mate in Austin send me some over, for example the salt lick sauce, you just can't buy it here.
That said when i wanted to re-order of him he went awol for a while so i checked amazon and found you can get 90% of those there or 100% now as some had simply ran out of stock bud.

If anyone wants some imported stuff but needs to buy bulk aka a case, i will chip in.

Think it's something to do with how they were packed in barrels or "butts" mate, in Boston. Hence the name Boston butt.
