Mikhail Kavelashvili STR, Kakhabar Tskhadadze DEF, Murtaz Sheila DEF, both defenders were half decent but got bad injuries when with us, Kavelashvili on the other hand, a striker, was apalling. He was the one Franny Lee asked Kinky about, Kinky replied: 'Better than me'

I reckon he was just lonely!

i remember when we got relegated Franny guaranteed in a CIty mag that Kavelashvili would score 20+ to send us back up

Remember him (unfortunately) well. Was his goal not the opener? Rags went on to win 3-2? He scored a couple of goals in the old Div 1 but was well sussed out by then. His signing was a last ditch attempt at staying up by Franny & Alan Ball (sic) which clearly never worked.
