The comments on Mr. Brightside (save the "overplayed" one) seem a bit churlish -- it's a good tune by a good band off an album which, like Pearl Jam's 10, is half excellent and half mediocre.

However, it's up against my favo(u)rite band, off my favo(u)rite record, with a stone cold iconic number. Hasta la vista, Los Killers.
That's a reasonable assessment on the Killers tune and the Killers per say , they are not the and would have on my playlist but I have seen them live and they are worth the entry and have produced some decent material without having a stand out album IMO unlike New Order that have many.

Because New Order may for some if not many be iconic me included that should not mean Mr Brightside should be diminished as such by comparison.

I would have voted for them ahead of a number put forward so far but not certainly not this one , just the luck of the draw I guess.

Never heard of Lift to Experience, will have a couple more listens before I vote I think.

Never heard of lift to experience either, weird how their singer sounds like Lou Reed, almost like an impression.. I don't like either track, so flipped a coin, and it was heads, so that meant the velvet underground won
