Whilst I like both songs I love the Floyd one. It's just a beautiful build up leading to a beautiful song on my favourite album by them.
Oh...and Marvin plays it on Hitchhikers Guide as well. Extra point.

I love a lot of New Order - some great stuff to get into.
With that in mind, I still have no idea how many are still picking this over the output by Floyd on this one - in my head actually beggars belief.
Needless to say, that's what makes the music threads so interesting................ :-)

I love, love, love Joy Division.
But I simply can not listen to New Order due to Barney Sumner's lyrics being literally the worst of any band ever. Yes, even worse than Oasis and Janet Jackson.
There's also the small matter of Shine On You Crazy Diamond being of truly legendary status and being by one of the most gifted bands in musical history.
