One would think that I'd absolutely detest a band once described as "the next Radiohead" but a) they weren't; b) this band has a sense of humo(u)r while Radiohead doesn't; c) this particular song has a BPM count over 12, unlike too many of Radiohead's songs; d) Grandaddy is from Modesto so they're practically locals (even though they filmed the video in LA); and e) Thom "WIll You Please SHUT THE FUCK UP" Yorke isn't in Grandaddy.

I voted for "Forever Young" last time due to nostalgia only; it's not enough this time. A neat little tune by Grandaddy.

It was a vote against Morrissey rather than for Bowie.
If Agadoo or There's no one quite like Grandma had gone up against Morrissey they would have got 53 votes.....

Well they may be Big In Japan but despite only getting 15 votes, it was enough to squeeze Alphaville past Grandaddy by one point, winning 15 to 14.
Where are all the 54 ***** who voted against Morrissey? Morrissey lost with 14 and Alphaville get through with 15....
Not that I'm bitter or amything....
