Hungry Heart isn't even the best song on The River, (Independence Day/The River/Out in the Street alone are better, IMO), so the Beatles get my vote on this with one of the best songs of all time.

My apologies too — ADITL is probably my favo(u)rite Beatles song — it’s certainly the most haunting IMO. Magnificent. I’ve always really loved the title track to The River too. But poor Bruce drew the short straw here.
