I had to click the Beatles link. I realised I knew the song, but had no idea it was called ‘Something’. It has that lovely little guitar riff, but is pretty forgettable apart from that. One vote for the reaper.

George IMO the best musician and wrote the best songs for the band and my favourite Beatle song off probably their best album the White Album although sometimes its Revolver for me depending on mood and other factors is a George Harrison song not highly regarded by critics or Beatle fans at least as much as others like the song that has got through to the next round.

This is a reasonably easy choice for me despite the Chairman of the Board saying its one of his favourites and he played it often on romantic evenings albeit that is hard to fathom when it comes to Old blue eyes.

BOC for me which will go very deep.

Yanks are getting their kicks in right here, pal. Classic as Something is, over here it’d be 95-5 in favo(u)r of BOC. Reaper is beloved as well it should be. What do you expect when the American equivalent of Python’s Dead Parrot sketch is based on this song? :)
