The one on top, is the one with the winning song!As I said yesterday, I think most ties now will be close..... which is good for me as assuming my 2 songs get through, the tighter each game is means I'm less likely to get caught..... even if my songs go out, if winning songs are only winning by a handful of votes i have enough in the bag to remain on the top (without sounding like an Arsenal fan from last season....)

Have you only bothered listening to the one track? The version of Ghost Town that BH posted is a live performance too. Think he did same yesterday, presume deliberate to vary it a bit?

The higher the quality of songs the more people should really try and listen closely without prejudice but you're right, no one's doing that at this stage.
Got to admit I've enjoyed this less than the top 100 type threads where people mostly tell you positively why they love something. Here half the comments are about how something is shit and most of the time it's said about stuff that has significant merit but just happens not to be to an individuals taste.

Hopefully, common sense will prevail, and the Beach Boys will emerge victorious. But this is Bluemoon (home of the Match thread), so common sense isn't always readily available.

I’ve heard many of these songs so often I already know what I think and even now if you give me any random match-up among the survivors to this point I don’t think I’m going to have a difficult time deciding pretty quickly TBH. “Ghost Town” is a good tune but up against among The Beach Boys best, this one leans West Coast for me.
