Just after the 'don't be a fanny clause '........ :-)Page 1 , clause 11.
The other Who track was of course even better...Well done @hilts and yet again another fabulous effort by @BlueHammer85 to keep this whole thing together for so many weeks!
Last time was pure luck and serendipity as The Boxer was literally a last second throwaway that I was shocked won.
This year BH asked for a favo(u)rite song and for me there was only one to pick. I thought it might have a shot to go all the way — but facing a battle time in and time out every round it’s still remarkable WGFA emerged on top.
Lots of tremendous choices that deserved a better fate but it was great to see some old standby classics like Midnight Train and Stand By Me get so far too.
WGFA has plenty to say about the state of the world today too, at least from where a Yank sits. Let’s hope The Kinks’ “Better Days” or some such other more optimistic title carries the next cup.
I voted for Stevie in that round, and no regrets. THAT was quite an unlucky draw, and I could see that clearly going further had it not gone up against WGFA that early.Indeed. I had high hopes for my “Superstitious” pick in this competition and it was unlucky enough to come up against WGFA in the first round!
Congrats again Fog that's two songs on the spin , I know you want to at least equal City's 4 on the trot so next time again you shall chose favorites of yours and mine that won't go all the way but should in fact might be knocked off early and one maybe two that others in the main will enjoy deep into the comp.Well done @hilts and yet again another fabulous effort by @BlueHammer85 to keep this whole thing together for so many weeks!

Congratulations hilts on finishing at the peak first.A prize ? Really
Great work again BH liked many of your one liners and kept it smooth and straightforward.Page 1 , clause 11.

I actually think the Boxer was engrained in your thoughts last time you just didn't want to gloat about it.
What were your 5 picks this time round I would be interested to know if I voted against any one of them anytime.
Cheers Fog.I PM’d you so as not to clog the thread :)
