The Bluemoon Song Cup 2024 - P204 - R2/M99 - Everything But The Girl (I Don't Want To Talk About It) v Deep Purple (Hush)

Like Foggy. "It's A Long Way To The Top If You Wanna Rock and Roll" is my favourite AC/DC song.

Funnily enough, as I was getting into music in the 80s, I actually heard a very good cover of this by John Farnham before I heard the original.

I just knew there had to be more AC/DC to come but I didn't expect 3 on the bounce.

@BlueHammer85, whilst I am happy to accept that the draw is random and fair, don't tell me you didn't change the sequence of matches to set this up!

Ahhhh my ears ! Bjork was just about OK when she went on her own, but this...
The only Sugarcubes song I can tolerate is "Hit" but thats about it.

Sugarcubes is more inventive. Lyrics amusing and interesting- smoking cigars in the bath and sewing birds into knickers, what's not to like? Sonically engaging.
Not another damned colonial rock-out, thank you.

There might be a discussion about the best guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, handclaps, sitar, fucking glockenspiel or some other weird instrument used in a rock and roll song.

But there isn’t ANY debate about best bagpipes.

AC/DC marches on, kilts and all. Oh wait — they count as “Australian” not Scottish. Still think the last three matches could be played under protest . . .

AC/DC Passed me by when I was younger in fact i would say I really disliked them, however since picking up a guitar and a mate asking me to learn let there be rock for his lad they really are a guitarists dream. Catchy tunes with simple chords(thank god:-))

Gonna have to check out their catalogue methinks

Bjork always sounds like Audrey Hepburn in my fair lady to me:-) its funny how the Icelandic accent can sound a bit cockernee
