I like Warren Zevon but I think the telling thing about O'Connor's version of Nothing Compares 2 U is that it is overplayed to death and yet it has never sounded hackneyed.

Cooke does have a E though :-)

That is his stage name NZ never changed legally to Cooke it was something he liked once he became known and often though their is no documented record another artist has the same name ala David Bowie.
