At least 3 on her first album namely Talkin bout a Revolution , Baby Can I hold You and For My Lover come to mind.Go on- which of Tracy Chapman's other other songs are better? I'm intrigued!
IMO Crossroads is a better album than her debut and the title track more rounded , interesting and emotional than Fast Car.
Of her hits Give Me One Reason shows how she could write a song with improved chord progression , a genuine blues rock song and if memory serves me right she may have written this song before Fast Car.
Better its in the beholder but for me better written songs and more layers that jell better.
