This is an absolute nightmare of a match up. Both brilliant songs.

The New Order ones wins it on the grounds of the original version being well ahead of its time and it is an absolute barnstormer, live.

Wow two great songs.
I think temptation shades it as it's a classic tune and New Order have been around for longer and have more history than oasis.

Despite the comments so far it really is hard to imagine these two tracks getting onto the equivalent thread on any other team's site. The Madchester factor is strong in this one.

Still, we lost Springsteen yesterday and one of these today so things aren't too bad :-)

Too old and decrepit now to do anything on any level outside much perturbation but its still good to know one can remiss and imagine.

Not their best but too good for Oasis and still a good choice though. A reminder of how many good / great songs NO have made.

I feel a bit bad voting against what is probably Oasis’ best song (that I’ve heard anyway - I assume their later albums don’t have anything nearly as good). Temptation is a stone-cold classic though. I sometimes have fun looking through You Tube for live versions from the early-mid 80s. They played around with it a lot and they’re all great. The EGG/586/Temptation segueway from a gig in Hull in 1984 is absolute killer.
