Goddamn what a thread. Happy to vote for Steely Dan but Laurie Anderson is a genius as an artist. As her husband — Lou Reed, ya may have heard of him — thought. But how would a well-listened Yank expect any recognition of who she is from the passel of “Kate Bush is a goddess” fans that roam over these pages?

Unfortunately this Steely Dan is like most of their songs, note perfect but bland.

If it had been Reeling in the Years that is the true exception so I'm giving it a miss
