Pacquiao is also a great fighter and much celebrated. Mayweather is not liked but anybody with a clear mind can at least appreciate his gifts as a boxer.

Hagler v Hearns was a great fight. Leonard V Duran was a great fight. This may have been a brilliant technical display by Mayweather, but it was far from a great fight.
More action in a game of chess.
People seem to forget what boxing is all about. Although there was no staggering about and knock outs, there was a lot of connections from both sides and alot of intelligence and tactics especially from Mayweather. It was a great fight in my opinion. A lot of skills was exhibited from both players out there.
