Haha get in :-)
Never realised that Fury was from a family of Blues that makes it even worseThat's class, i remember when Floyd wore a rag top when he was over doing the promotion stuff with Hatton.
The £30 charge is probably designed to make new customers think fuck me £12/ mth is good value.
May's £12 buys you Canelo Khan and Wilder Povetkin
Good article by Matt Christie in this weeks BN regarding opponents & GGG.
Makes me laugh all this stuff about the ring and the wraps. The house fighter will always seek to gain an advantage on any card. There are stipulated limits on how much padding there can be underneath the canvas just as there are limits on how big the ring can be. If a fighter suspects that the other side has exceeded those limits his team raises it with the sanctioning body and they deal with it. Naturally each team are gonna try and push things as far as they can - what's wrong with that.
Having the advantage of choosing what gloves are used or what ring is used is just that... an advantage if that's how they prefer to have things and do their best work with(Shall we bring home crowds into too which can give a fighter an extra gear and sometimes lead to home town decisions? They have to prepare for these things) but is it cheating? No sorry not for me, these things are agreed on before a fight by any good team which Team Fury clearly is.
You seem to be getting a case together set around the choice of gloves, that's a good slight of hand (forgive me) but i think you'll find the Furys shout was born out of the unseen wrapping..you really must have a fairer approach to the furys...it's no wonder they're shouting for some balance in their evaluation, folk making their own truth up for em after they've clearly (and loudly) stated their case could be seen to be a teeny weeny bit bent...
I'd maybe be more inclined to listen to you, if Fury wasnt a daft homophobic rag ****.
....or even so far that such extremes have never been seen before....would be another way of describing it...
Does make you wonder why the klitsh klan never told Lewis to shut the fuck and stick with their obvious over padded floor...did they need the gypsy that bad to allow him to dictate, of course if they were bang to rights that would explain their reversal....whatever the truth was the non Fury loving lewis was'nt made to laugh alot
You seriously reckon it's never happened to such an extreme before ? Cmon man it happens all the time it's just that it's not usually highlighted by 24/7 coverage on a sports news channel that have a PPV to sell.
Pardon me Mark i perhaps did'nt articulate me words clearly enuf...it was'nt me who reckoned it had never been seen before (afterall like you i was'nt there) but a world champion at the weight..i'd be very suprised if he was lieing
Cheating to gain an unfair advantage is part and parcel of sport. Going to the extremes that say Margarito did is indefensible. Trying to make the canvas spongier is equivalent to preparing a cricket pitch to suit spinners if Shane Warne's in your team.
Listen man we all have big respect for Lennox or any boxer for that matter but Lennox had his media hat on that day and may possibly have been encouraged by his producer to exaggerate the seriousness of that situation to increase interest in the fight. Or he may simply not have encountered it before - doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Some boxers follow boxing like the bible when they're done, some take no interest at all.
If the wraps had anything to it you'd have a point but I don't think this is the case and we have no proof of it, as for the ring we will have to agree to disagree mountain over molehill springs to mind(insert passive aggressive remark here). They both share the same canvas, you are making out like one fighter is gaining a massive unfair advantage(there's all sorts of advantages that can be gained anyone who knows the sport even a little bit will have noticed some, I just mentioned a few and you focused on the gloves as a weak strawman for yourself), which dodgy wraps would be(that's cheating plain and simple)... I'll say it again it's not cheating as long as the officials checked it and deemed it safe/above board, their team can check it too if it's going to affect them too much and ask for it to be changed as was agreed. This could have been done in any of his previous fights without much fuss, I credited his team quite clearly for that also, I've not got alot against the Fury's certainly not a hater just found it poor form and I imagine he'd be crying bloody murder if someone went after his rep like this claiming it's just because he's a traveler... he's a bit of a crybully at times for me I much prefer his interviews with Kugan.

Erm you do realise the canvas is loose since they are still finishing preparing it behind him and it's the only reason he trips? I hope you weren't thinking it proves your point or something.
