It's always a sad day when a ship you've lived and worked on for a number of years ends up at the breakers yard in Turkey. So many laughs, tears, marriages and deaths, ships really do seem to have a soul. Rest in peace old girl, Pride of Burgundy.

Sailed on the Pride of Burgundy many times along with sister ships Dover / Kent when I used to take freight onto mainland Europe , unfortunately not many British firms crossing now since the east european transport firms came in . Always a cracking breakfast on board
