Not quite sure what happened with this, I've just opened it and there were only two posts in it, though the thread showed 40 posts.

This is a consistency problem in the database, caused by a merge that didn't properly merge.

Anyway, to preserve the nice, clean database that we have, the topic was deleted. Usually, when we delete a topic, we move it to the Mod Forum so that your post counts don't go down, but this was a data issue so had to be removed from the database, hence you may have lost a post or two.

There's another Ibra thread here, so feel free to repost any enlightening or important opinions that you had in to that one.

Thanks,
Damocles

Dam, I was cleaning this thread up earlier (it had degenerated into needless abuse again). I was having major problems trying to do this, and during this cleaning up it appeared as though the whole thread was deleted. All a bit strange mate :-S

So do people want Ibra or not, some says he's shite and will make us a laughing stock, others say he could be like Berbatov at Spurs, great at some clubs lazy good for nothing at others.

I don't think Ibra is lazy, he is incredibly selfish - all he cares about is scoring goals and he maintains what he considers to be the best position to do so. His record would suggest he is getting something right.

And to be honest, if he plays for us, all I would care about is him scoring goals.

I fear for him (and Bluemoon) if he signs for us, because the 'put in a fucking shifters' would have an embolism before, during and after every game.

'There's only one Paul Dickov' etc.

Sign him up. Fucking class player.

The one thing that I can't work out in all this is that everyone slates Ibra as lazy... I can't comment as I don't really watch an European football, yet we keep hearing that Mancini works his players hard in training... If Mancini goes in for him, he knows what he's gonna get from him and I can't see him tolerating a lazy player!!!

He certainly won't get half as much time on the ball in the premiership as he gets in La Liga
