The Carling Cup - play the kids?

We need to get a winning mentality and that comes with winning trophys.

That should beat any team outside the premiership or at home against mid-table premiership teams. If we draw chelsea, united, spurs etc or in the quarters or higher play our strongest team.
 
I for 1 was delighted when we got knocked out of that piss poor competition. Its kids all the way in that for me. Much bigger mackerel to paste onto bread these days

Christ... that's a frighteningly good team!!! Some squad we have now!
 
TBH, I think Chelsea have the greatest incentives to win the carling cup this year. So many incentives and they've got Lukaku and romieu. Anyways, I really do think we're top 3 in terms of likely winners.

I'd think weiss would be one of the 'shining youngsters' for our team.
 
I think it would be best to play a mixture of the kids and a few of the first team/bench players, let the kids run free with a few steady heads in there like Kolo and Milner

Then have a subs bench including maybe:

Taylor, Assulin, Wabara, Razak, AJ and then a player like Barry who can sure up the midfield a little if needed for the last 15 mins
