I was there and I can only apologise on behalf of our lunatic fringe. There were people within earshot of me saying 'why are they singing that' and 'I'd rather die than sing that'. Someone in our fanzine described it as 'turkeys voting for Christmas' and apologised to any City fans reading it. Every club has 'em I'm afraid. Oh and it was 4 -1 by the way.
