Anyone go to any? Particularly interested to know what Erasure were like.

I went last night to Simple Minds and was quite surprised how many of their "popular" songs they didn't play in their set considering it was a greatest hits tour.

Courteeners on saturday were excellent, didnt go to erasure but heard them from the camp site - "camp" being the correct word ! :)

yeah sounded good, nice bit of cocky swagger with them too, really impressed with venue, spotted plenty of blues and familiar faces which was good

Apparently a bit rowdy down the front at the 'teeners.

Went to Simple Minds last night. 4th time I've seen them, but the last time was at Maine Road I think on the Real Life tour about 20 years ago!

Thought it was great gig, really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, and good rapport between band and crowd. I'm intruiged by your comment about the set list cos I thought they did most of the ones most of the crowd would expect.
My fave last night was Someone Somewhere (but i've always had a soft spot for NGD). Celebrate was a surprise too.

See the lights, Belfast Child and Let there be love are the immediate three that jump out at me that weren't played
I went for thee songs really and the last one, Ghost Dancing, I thought they were going to miss off
I saw them on the Real Life tour at MR when it was pissing it down IIRC and saw them about ten years ago at G-Mex
I only live a few miles from Delamere and that's the first gig I've been to there and I was surprised at how easy it was to get toward the front near the stage
