The Conservative Party

I caught something on the news this morning, but didn't absorb it all. Did they say that the Conservatives might have to manage the break up of the Union if Sinn Fein get a landslide win?

well the concern of the DUP does seem to have gone from " people who actually believe in dinosaurs " to " a Sinn Fein landslide will see a call for a border referendum" - ie calls to unite Ireland so probably yes.

Then again the 2nd front will be the SNP emboldened by results will be looking for Indyref 2 - even in Wales things are heading South could be a 3rd independence call for Johnson to deal with - he will create the United Kingdom of Cornwall, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Berkshire.......... won't include the Red Wall of London where his Parliament will sit and where he will live oddly enough.........

Not as bad a night for the Tories as predicted, especially in the ‘red wall’ areas. Could this trigger a GE this year??

As sure as eggs are little chickens the Nasty Party GE slogan will be ‘Ah but, Labour will try to get us back in the EU’.

Let’s face it. the Nasty Party will be seriously contemplating a GE this year. Even if they loose, an incoming Labour/LD government will have a real shit stain to clear up and it will be easy for this lot to blame it on someone else, after all, they have been doing that for ages. The effects of Brexit, Covid, inflation are all set to get even worse in 2023; better to get out now and be back in again in a few years time for another 10 years: after all there is nothing to say they will actually loose the next GE if it is called this year. They may loose a lot of their majority but still keep hold on to power.

I'm still expecting one before the economy goes to shit.

Tories will win with a smaller majority looking at this so far.

It looks like the Tories "Everyone is the same" strategy has kept voters at home.s

The Labour Party need to steer clear of the EU subject if they want to win the GE. The core values of labour are the NHS, Education, Employment and Equality.
We have moved to far down the road of inequality to make the debate about the EU
The cabinet have proved how corrupt they are, as Tory voters have proved what they think about Parties. They will elect a decent leader and the next GE will be theres to win

Nandy is leading this fight within the party. She's slowly getting through to Sir Keir it's a vote winner.
