The Conservative Party

Someone needs to remind Johnson that over the past couple of years it wasn't that unique a situation for vast swathes of the working population - Its just they didn't all flaunt the laws by holding boozy piss-ups in their homes/workplace

If he wins. Wouldn't that open thousands of claims to sue the police for the fines given out?

A further example of him dodging any kind of responsibility.

Clearly he knows he is bang to rights and is trying to scare off the plod. Keep digging Johnson you prick

Not just embarrassing but dangerous. Our politicians are so lightweight and lacking in credibility they make the whole western alliance look weak which gives the Russians licence to take the piss, because they know that at least one country in NATO will make decisions prioritising its own inept government's preservation ahead of taking the best course of action to counter Russian aggression.

That is exactly the word I was about to type. As disgusting as some of the behaviour and subsequent gaslighting may have been, that's not the biggest problem right now. Rather, as a country we are faced with some enormous challenges (or opportunities if you are of that persuasion) and I cannot think of a less capable government in my lifetime. The majority of the cabinet are so far out of their depth it is terrifying.

I certainly don’t think that this is an extreme opinion at all.
Fascism doesn’t come marching down the street in a uniformed gang, it comes to you by reducing and destroying your human and civil rights ,your right to protest, and ultimately your right to partake in the democratic process.
We can already see this.
The more engaged in what is happening can see it, but the majority of people don't have a clue what's happening to the fabric of democracy at the moment.

They're not interested in politics. They only think about it when there is an election, and they vote whichever way they do after watching or reading whatever the main stream media feeds them, and put their cross on the ballot paper accordingly.

It's a sad state of affairs, but the majority of people don't seem to have grasped the idea the traditional tory party has been hijacked and taken over by extreme right wing nut jobs with their own agendas they will happily pursue without any conscience regarding the poverty their policies will inflict on the masses.
