Its the ''right to participate in free elections'' and ''abolition of the death penalty'' that they will remove first. (BTW that abolition of the death penalty was achieved under a Labour Government)

It's beginning to sound more and more deranged - stay a member of the European Convention on Human Rights, except for, er, the bits they don't like.

The only reason for not providing such a significant bill to pre-publication assessment is because they know it'll get torn to bits once the committees saw it. I assume it will then be scheduled to be rushed through to prevent proper review.
