The Conservative Party

It wins votes, but principally in safe Tory seats, where its value is nugatory.
With the polls and bye-election results, I'm not sure if there is still such a thing as a safe Tory seat.
I can see anything under a 20,000 majority being under threat, and possibly higher in some constituencies, especially if tactical voting becomes "popular"

I think they'll still still walk home in many rural areas. East Anglia and Home Counties outside the biggest towns/cities, the shires - they'll keep most of those unless one of Labour or LibDems essentially withdraw.

The only thing that will affect many of them - particularly East Anglia/some but not all of Kent - is what the Reform Party get up to.

Try living in the Borough of Stratford upon Avon and say that!

That said, spoke to a Tory councillor a few months back who thinks Zahawi could lose the seat, which would be completely seismic.

There will be plenty of tactical voting round here with Labour getting squeezed.

its a madhouse. groups of people who all consider themselves Conservative but do not share political ideals are probably going to oust the PM. That will mean a replacement will be their 6th PM since 2016. To put that into context there have only ever been 6 Labour PM's

Not being funny mate but this sort of thing needs wider distribution - do what you can to spread the word. These bastards frame it in the "Asian hospital porter plays the system by coming here on his £20k pa job and has the audacity to want his Mrs and his child to live with him" when they ignore the " ex squaddie works at Morrissons for £20k pa and has the audacity to want to bring his German wife and child to live with him" - has to be shouted from the rooftops. That **** Johnny Mercer needs the truth dropping on his doorstep
This of course has always been the case. It’s just the wage threshold has gone up.
