The Conservative Party

Low voter turnout; split of opposition vote; MSM doing everything to hold Tories up; Starmer dropping the Ming vase he’s currently tiptoeing across the ice rink with.
If the vote were next week, 100% Labour waltz it. But it’s not.
Unlike ‘97 I don’t think the electorate have bought into the Labour narrative.
And for that reason, plus those outlined above, I still give them a chance. Not a big one, but a chance nonetheless.
Think it’s possible, but only just. Think the chances of it happening are vanishingly small.

I think it’s now irretrievable, unless something truly extraordinary happens, and not something any low level false flag is going to change btw. Or any media narrative either.

They are fucked. More fucked than the Tories were in the spring of 1996. It’s going to take something massive and real to turn that round.

‘Not a big one’ doesn’t do that reality justice. ‘Not a big one’ could still possibly imply ‘likely’.

I clearly have a better finger on the pulse of middle England than you x

Although I agree about the lack of enthusiasm for Starmer.
